Deepika Padukone is gracing the latest cover of Femina magazine. She is donning a sexy look and her expressions are on point.

On the cover, DP is seen wearing a waist cutout bralette with bronze metallic zipper jacket. She left her hair loose open and minimal makeup.

The official Instagram page of Femina shared the cover and said, “The Padmaavat star @deepikapadukone is on our cover, and we cannot keep calm!

Currently, Deepika is riding high on the success of her latest film Padmaavat. The film is directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali and also stars Ranveer Singh and Shahid Kapoor in the lead roles.

The ‘jauhar’ scene in the movie has been praised, but there were some that had issues with it. In an interview with a leading daily, Deepika Padukone was asked about her take. To this, she said, “Let me put things in perspective. We are not endorsing jauhar. You must see the scene/practice in context to the period in which it was shown. And when you do that, you will realise, it’s so powerful. You do not feel like she is doing anything wrong. You want her to embrace the flames because she is going to be united with the man she loves.”

She went on to add, “For me, it was the most difficult scene to perform. We shot it in peak summer at Film City in Mumbai. I cannot tell you how challenging it was. After every single take, I would go up to my van, have a shower, get ready for my scene and go back. With my heavy costume and jewellery, the heat was oppressive. It was such a difficult thing to execute.”
