Sonam Kapoor looks drop-dead gorgeous on the cover of Elle’s January issue

Not only ramp walks and film festivals, fashion diva Sonam Kapoor also manages to slay every magazine cover she graces.

After raising the temperatures in the covers of several renowned magazines, the Neerja actress has now taken over the cover of Elle for the January issue.

The actress is looking drop-dead gorgeous in a floral top and is all smiles on the cover. Minimal makeup and messy hair perfected the chic and classy look.

Sonam Kapoor is a part of Akshay Kumar’s Padman which sends out an important social message on menstruation.

The actor will also be seen in Sanjay Dutt’s biopic with Ranbir Kapoor playing Dutt. In the movie, Sonam has a cameo appearance. When a leading daily asked her if she doesn’t mind having less screen time, Sonam said, “Screen time makes no difference to me, as long as I have something to do in that much time.”

“I won’t play just a hot girl in a song. I won’t be doing such a role because it will be a waste of my time. But if I’m playing a Biro or Bittu, I would rather do that because there’s an arc to the character and it makes a difference to the story. It’s not about the screen time but what you do in that screen time. I’d rather do that than three songs and two scenes in a film,” she added.

She will also be seen in Veere Di Wedding that releases in May this year. On Veere Di Wedding being called a chick flick, Sonam said, “Don’t call it that! It’s so bad. There’s no such thing as chick flicks. Do you call a hero’s film a stud film? No, right? It’s so tacky.”
