London Thumakda Video Song from Movie Queen

First came the teaser with a reticent Kangana asking the ‘Aam’ junta for honeymoon tips. Now, we have a fresh song with dhol beats and some crisp rustic flavour. Check out the song and tell us your take on Kangana’s superb act!

The year 2013 has been relatively good for Bollywood diva Kangana Ranaut with Krrish 3 breaking box office records and her role as the mutant Kaya appreciated from all quarters.

Although her role as the nautch girl in Rajjo did not set the box office on fire, she sure is set to change that with her next film, Queen.

The movie portrays Kangana as a naive and good-hearted girl who ends up going all alone on her honeymoon after her wedding plans go kaput. The buzz around the film has been positive with Kangana’s small-town-girl act striking a cord with audiences.

The promotional strategy too has been good as the first video that came out garnered lot of attention from the masses for its unique content. Kangana looked inanely pretty and her dialect had everyone in awe of her. Kangana plans to follow in Aamir Khan’s Dhoom 3 promotional strategy of ‘less is more’ to prevent over-selling and maintaining exclusivity.

Although many comparisons were drawn between her character in Tanu weds Manu and Queen, she instantly rubbished these and clarified the differences in her characters. While Tanu was a brash, manipulative girl, Queen is an innocent girl stuck in messy situations was her response to some media queries.

The latest song from the movie London Thumakda is peppy with dhol and some earthly tunes just like saddi gali but completely fresh. The picturisation is pretty crazy with balloons, wedding preparations and mismatched dance steps which made us sit up and take notice of the entire charade.

Queen’s music is composed by Amit Trivedi, which has us looking forward to the soundtrack. The film is directed by Vikas Bahl. Queen is slated release on February 28, 2014.
